Wizard's First Rule

by Terry Goodkind

While coping with this sudden loss, Richard saves Kahlan Amnell from four mercenaries, and with the help of Richard's friend Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander the three flee to the midlands to stop Darken Rahl's ever expanding empire.
