Page Pulse
Terms of Service
Last updated October 3, 2026
By creating an account or using Page Pulse you agree to these terms. They’re short on purpose.
Using Page Pulse
- You can browse without an account. Writing reviews, shelving books and making lists need one.
- Keep your login details safe. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- Provide a real email address you can access, and only one account per person is expected.
Your content
You own the reviews, lists, descriptions and profile picture you add. Only upload a picture you have the right to use, and nothing that breaks the rules below. By posting them you give Page Pulse permission to store and display them on the site (including your public profile) for as long as they’re there. You can delete any of it, or your whole account, at any time.
Be decent
Don’t post anything that is spam, harassing, hateful, threatening, illegal, or that exposes someone’s private information. Reviews should be about the book. Mark reviews that give away the plot as spoilers. Don’t try to break, overload or scrape the site, bypass its limits, or access other people’s accounts.
Readers can report reviews they think break these rules. Reports are sent to us to look at, and we may remove content or accounts that break these rules.
Book information
Book details and covers come from Open Library and may be incomplete or wrong. Mood tags are partly guessed by software and partly set by readers, so treat them as suggestions. Ratings and recommendations are not guarantees that you’ll enjoy a book.
No warranty
Page Pulse is provided “as is”, without promises that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using the site.
Ending your account
You can stop using Page Pulse and delete your account whenever you want from your profile page. We may suspend or remove accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. See also our Privacy Policy. Questions can go to github.com/rkhushraj/pagepulse/issues.
